Philip George, MD, FACS is a board certified, fellowship trained minimally invasive hernia surgeon. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center and is faculty at the Columbia Hernia Center. He offers complex general and hernia surgery to the residents of New York, New Jersey and beyond. He specializes in complex hernia repair, robotic surgery, sports hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction. He is one of the few surgeons using mesh-free inguinal hernia repairs such as the Shouldice technique. He looks forward to treating every patient like an individual, and prides himself on his exceptional outcomes.
