Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: From the time of high school, I have been fascinated by the intricate workings of the human body. As my studies took me further, I was intrigued by the surgical field with the hands-on aspect of practicing medicine. My love of surgery directed me to choose my clinical rotations and career path in surgery positions since I graduated from PA (physician assistant) school in 2010. I specifically enjoy seeing so many problems fixed through surgery and getting to aid patients in an improved quality of life. I have the privilege of enjoying each day that I am at work.
