Kayla Hatten is a CNP in General Surgery at Spearfish Clinic. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Mount Marty University in Yankton, SD. Kayla had previously obtained an Exercise Science degree from Black Hills State University and then a Nursing degree from the University of South Dakota. Born and raised in the Black Hills, from a young age Kayla admired the work provided in the medical field and set a goal to pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner. Initially working in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Kayla wanted to become more vested in the care and treatment of those that she had served in the community in which she was raised and was thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to those that helped mentor, suppo...
