Dr. Jina Kim MD

Dr. Jina Kim is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgery and fellowship-trained in endocrine surgery. She has a special interest in caring for patients with endocrine diseases and performs surgeries of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. Patients with endocrine tumors often need specialized, multidisciplinary care, and she feels fortunate to be able to provide such care at Inova Schar Cancer. Dr. Kim joined Inova in 2020 and has been practicing endocrine surgery since 2019. Her research interests include quality improvement of surgical care for patients. She has served as a committee member with the American Thyroid Association and as an ad-hoc reviewer for various surgical journals.
