Dr. Sharon Bachman is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgery with Inova General Surgery. She has a special interest in management of complex abdominal wall and inguinal hernias, surgical education, and the techniques of minimally invasive surgery. She has an active research interest in prosthetic materials used in hernia repair. Dr. Bachman became interested in surgical services because of the opportunities to problem-solve utilizing a skill set that is both intellectual and manual. Her goal is to help patients regain their functional lifestyle.
