Dr. Coleman is a fellowship-trained, board-certified colon and rectal surgeon practicing in Newport News, VA at the TPMG Center for Colorectal Surgery. Dr. Coleman has a special interest in the prevention and detection of colorectal cancer and offers diagnosis and treatment of a variety of colon and rectal conditions. Dr. Coleman joined the U.S. Army in 1998 and during her time, she served as Chief Surgeon of the 758th Forward Surgical Team at Forward Operating Base Lagman during Operation Enduring Freedom VII from 2009 to 2010. She was also Chief Surgeon of the Mobile Surgical Team during Joint Task Force Bravo at Soto Cano Air Base in 2011.
