Dr Michael S Nussbaum, MD, F.A.C.S., is a renowned leader in surgery, currently Senior VP, Professor, and Chair of Surgery at Carilion Clinic and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Previously, he held esteemed roles, including endowed Professor and Chief of General Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. With expertise in gastrointestinal, endocrine, and minimally invasive surgery, he's been Chair of Surgery and Program Director. He's played key roles at the University of Cincinnati and is a Fellow of eminent surgical associations.
