Dr. Nchang Azefor joined the Fauquier Health team in late 2023. Taking a patient-centered approach, Dr. Azefor treats each patient interaction with compassion. According to Dr. Azefor, “I want my patients to see me as an advocate for their health. My style of practice is to ensure that each patient fully understands their treatment options and what their road to recovery may look like.” Dr. Azefor is board-certified in General Surgery. She specializes in hernia surgery, minimally invasive surgery (gallbladder, colorectal, appendectomy), mediport insertion, biopsies, lipomas, breast surgery, thyroid surgery, endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy), and more. Dr. Azefor earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine.
